	One Piece Regular Soil Auger This one-piece regular soil auger is powder-coated (orange) for rust resistance. The auger comes equipped with a 16" rubber-gripped cross handle and has a total length of 53". The lightweight (4 to 5 lbs) one-piece regular soil auger is an inexpensive alternative to our auger-extension-cross handle systems for anyone not needing to go deeper than 4 feet. This one-piece soil auger has carbon steel auger bits that are sharpened and heat-treated.
	Telescoping Auger All AMS telescoping soil augers come complete with a comfortably gripped cross handle and an extendable extension piece. Telescoping augers are used for sampling to depths of 8'. These soil augers use snap pins to lock the cross handle, two concentric extendable extension pieces, and the bucket auger together. It is designed for easy transport and storage. Telescoping augers are just 5' 4" long and weigh between 5 to 8 lbs. The soil auger heads have a stainless steel cylinder and high carbon steel bits with a tungsten carbide hard surfaced cutting edge.
	Basic Soil Sampling Kit This kit gives you the ability to auger in most materials up to 12' and then collect a soil core sample. Includes: Regular, sand and mud auger, rubber coated cross handle, soil core sampler, slide hammer, three 4' extensions, plastic liner, plastic end caps, wrenches, and cleaning brushes in a rugged, foam-padded hard-sidded AMS deluxe carrying case with handles and wheels.
	Environmental Soil Sampling Kit Used in soils with low levels of contaminants or where equipment will be cleaned using an acid bath technique. Contains the same components as the basic kit but in all stainless. Includes: Regular, sand and mud augers, cross handle, split soil core sampler, slide hammer, three 4' extensions, plastic liner, plastic end caps, wrenches, and cleaning brush in a rugged, foam-padded hard-sided AMS deluxe carrying case with handles and wheels. Deluxe kit also includes: 25 plastic liners, 50 plastic end caps, 50 fluoropolymer swatches for enhanced core sealing and a #2 AMS stainless steel scoop.
	Flighted Auger Kits The AMS 2" flighted auger kit is equipped to drill access holes up to 9' deep. The included 1 1/2" x 6" soil core sampler may then be used to collect soil samples in liners. Additional extensions may be added to obtain deeper depths. Includes Bosch 11245, 5/8" threaded male to SDS Max adapter, 1 1/2" x 6" soil core sampler, slide hammer, 2" flighted lead auger with hard surfaced tip, 2" carbide tip, two 2" x 3' flighted extensions, three 5/8" x 4' extensions, universal slip wrench, 1 1/2" x 12" nylon brush, AMS deluxe carrying case.
	Hollowstem Auger Kits The portable AMS Hollowstem auger kit provides the tools needed to reach a 6' depth. The augers cut a 3" diameter hole and have an ID of 1 1/8", making them suitable for soil, soil gas and groundwater sampling through a cased hole. A special Hollowstem soil probe, 7/8" OD by 24" long with slide hammer is included to allow collection of a soil sample through the auger. The AMS gas vapor probes may bae used through these augers telescopically. Bailers up to 1" diameter may be used to collect groundwater samples. Hollowstem Auger Kit Includes: Bosch model 11245, SDS max adapter, slide hammer, flighted lead auger, flighted extension, two 5/8" x 3' extensionsk hard surfaced tip, wrenches, nylon brush, AMS deluxe carrying case. Hollowstem lead section includes: SDS max adapter, 3' flighted extension, inner rod, plug, cap and tip.
	Soil Classification Kit The AMS Signature Series thread pattern allows for quick and easy connection/disconnection with 2-1/2” turns to connect. It also includes the AMS ratcheting cross handle, knurled extensions in 1ft. intervals, soil color binder with chart, and extendible tile probe which is crucial for locating underground obstructions. Other kit components include; regular auger, mud auger, open face clay auger, auger cleanout tool, three 4ft. extensions, 10pd. slide hammer, 2” x 6” Split Core Sampler, two cleaning brushes, gloves, slip wrench, Fluoropolymer tape (for threads), wrenches, all packaged in a poly-reinforced carrying case with convenient wheels and handles.
