With over thirty years’ experience in international banking, administration and human resources, Eileen co-founded FarrWest Environmental Supply, Inc. in 2004. She has 14 years’ experience in the environmental industry to include operations, logistics and administration. As president of Farrwest, Eileen is committed to being a leader in the environmental industry through excellence in service and integrity in business.
Jim Farr has over 35 years of experience in environmental and geotechnical projects ranging from technical field management to research and development of products and methods in the environmental industry. His previous experience included all aspects of environmental drilling operations, advanced laboratory studies, equipment design, quality control and field logistics. Projects included working at numerous landfill and superfund sites. Jim has also held key roles in special research projects including work in the Marshall Islands, Rice University, Sandia Labs and numerous military bases and government facilities throughout the Western and Central US.
Chief Executive Officer
Travis Brown has been with FarrWest since 2007. He oversees all aspects of both employee and client training in the proper use of environmental air and water quality instrumentation. Experience includes on-site training of personnel and deployment and monitoring of large scale venues for air and radiation hazards including the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, 2010 World Series, 2011 Super Bowl, 2011 World Series and 2012 US Grand Prix-Formula 1. Travis has and continues to work closely with numerous fire departments, Texas DPS, Homeland Security, FBI, ICE, Civil Support Teams and local law enforcement. He is a HazMat specialist with Cibolo Fire Department and enjoys “turning a wrench” anytime he gets a chance as he is a huge car enthusiast.
At FarrWest, Matt oversees all operations of our interoffice sales, repairs & technical support processes. He also is head of purchasing from our valued vendors. Matt is a loyal employee and has been with FarrWest for more than seven years. Prior to FarrWest, he was a District Manager for a construction skills training program. He plays a key role in our qualtiy of service and maintaining integrity in all aspects of the buisness.
Service Depot Manager
As the Service Depot Manager, Jonathan oversees all of our incoming repairs and maintenance for equipment used by environmental professionals and first responders. He handles the shipping and receiving of equipment as well as establishing and maintaining our quality control procedures for our rental fleet. Jonathan has been with us for five years now. Prior to FarrWest Jonathan had a long term management position in the customer service industry.
River handles our marketing campaigns in addition to inside sales at FarrWest. She works closely with our customers processing incoming orders for environmental consultants and first responders. River also coordinates the tradeshows and conferences FarrWest attends throughout the year and is our corporate photographer. She attended Missouri State University – West Plains where she studied Marketing and Business. Prior to FarrWest River had experience in buisness management and worked as a legal coordinator. River and her Husband have two sons and currently reside in New Braunfels, TX where her Husband is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the city.
Contract Service Technician
Cody travels across the state of Texas servicing contracts that FarrWest has established with government agencies and fire departments. For the past two years Cody has been calibrating and maintaining their gas detection, radiation detection, and CBRNE equipment. Prior to FarrWest Cody enjoyed working as a mechanic at the Canyon Lake Marina. He is an avid wake-boarder, vehicle enthusiast, metal worker, and proud owner of two dogs.
Web Developer / Graphic Designer
JT handles the design and development of our website and online store. He also assists in the production of showroom pieces and literature. JT was raised around the environmental industry so he is also familiar with the daily operations at Farrwest. Jt is currently a full time student at Angelo State University majoring in Computer Information Systems. He comes to FarrWest with experience as an IT Field Service Technician at Angelo State University.
Service Program Manager
Chris manages our long-term service programs, including being a front-line customer contact for repair, calibration, and the scheduling of these contracts. He has designed and implemented our own in-house service software to ensure that our clients' instruments are maintained properly, accounted for and have a full and complete history on each of their instruments.
Eddie began his sales career when he was 13 years old working for his Father, a local oil and gas geologist. He has worked in a diverse range of industries including construction, retail, and emergency vehicle upfitting. Working with the fire, police, and first responder community for the last 18 years, Eddie acquired a substantial amount of experience. He attended Stephen F Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX where he then received a degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. His duties at FarrWest are to oversee outside sales and to extend client base into new areas. Eddie works closely with manufactures and representatives to develop new product lines and maintain current vendor relationships. In his off time he enjoy spending time with his wife & 2 children, fishing, hunting and maintaining their property in the Texas Hill Country.
Debbie has been handling accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and human resources for over five years at FarrWest. With more than twenty years of accounting experience she has been an integral part of Farrwest. Prior to FarrWest she was operations manager for an international banking firm and managed a medical office.
Website / Equipment Technician
As FarrWest grows we need assistance here and there with several departments. Will is a well-rounded individual who makes himself available to assist with upcoming and continuous projects. Will graduated from Angelo State University where he earned his degree in Agricultural Business with a focus on Business Administration. His position with the FarrWest will become permanent now that he has completed his courses and his schedule is open. Will occupies his time outside of FarrWest with friends and family.
Adri manages our multi-phone line and directs our clients to the correct representatives at FarrWest to efficiently take care of their needs. In addition to greeting our clients upon walk-in, she also maintains our front lobby, organizes files, checks-in rental returns, and assists around the office where needed. Prior to FarrWest she worked in the retail industry for five years and has received more than four years clerical experience.
Mike trains HazMat specialists that have partnered with FarrWest with current product information and technology. He does this through directing group discussions, services, and structured learning experiences. Besides the training he facilitated with FarrWest he is also a Fire Engineer and Hazardous Materials Specialist with the San Antonio Fire Department Hazmat Team. Prior to FarrWest and SAFD he was a faculty member with Texas A&M-San Antonio and San Antonio College in addition to a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. Mike is associated with organizations such as the International Association of Emergency Managers, International Association of Firefighters, Local Emergency Planning Committee, and the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. He enjoys Jeepin’ and has had the privilege of driving several of the trails in the Badge of Honor program throughout the U.S .
Vehicle Projects Manager
Prior to FarrWest, Stephen acquired experience as a Project Manager with a large environmental firm and worked in the environmental industry for over 15 years. Stephen’s role as Vehicle Projects Manager is to oversee all day-to-day operations for the Vehicle Upfitting Department. Operations include; establishing estimates for new & existing builds, order/track all parts, sales procurement and vehicle design; all while making our customer’s vision a reality! He is a family man first and foremost, with three children. Stephens also enjoys custom vehicle builds as well as personal training.
Our Shop Foreman, Billy Green, maintains communication and organization of custom installs and builds at our Specialty Vehicle Department. He maintains constant contact with our Vehicle Projects Manager, clients, and vendors to ensure vehicles get in and out of our shop within a timely manner with the best service FarrWest can provide. Billy services motorcycles, emergency vehicles, armored luxury cars, etc.. On his down time he spends time with his two Step-Sons and dog. He is a sports bike and vehicle enthusiast.
As a diesel generator technician in the oil industry, HVAC technician, lock assembler and technician for detention facilities prior to FarrWest Alex has fit right in with our Vehicle Upfitting Department. His technical expertise and attention to detail assist our team with the installation of electronics, lighting, and wiring. In Alex’s spare time he enjoys building rustic lighting and furniture. He modifies custom vehicles and is a lover of electronics and live music
Since leaving his 10 year military career working as a diesel mechanic, Carlos has joined our FarrWest team. Carlos also gained experience with welding and fabrication. Not only is Carlos one of our top-tier vehicle technicians that install equipment and lighting, he also assists our Service Department with decontamination, calibrations, and repairs. As of 2018 Carlos has been married for 16 years to his High School sweetheart and has gained two beautiful daughters. His favorite thing to do is spend time with his family and enjoy the outdoors.
