We have built a reputation for quick, reliable, and honest repair and calibration services. With factory trained and certified repair technicians, a network of equally reliable partner laboratories, and a fully stocked 7,000 square foot facility, there are very few repair and calibration challenges we cannot meet. All work is performed to manufacturers specifications, using NIST-traceable standards.FarrWest stands behind ever repair, we want to make your equpiment work as if it were brand new. FarrWest's Service Department has the tools and knowledge to repair all the equipment you use on a consistent basis.
Once FarrWest receives your equipment in office it is checked into our internal database. You will immediately be notified once we receive your equipment. Within 24-48 hours of receiving your equipment one of our certified technicians will contact you with an explanation to estimated services and costs.
Whether it is water or air quality monitoring equipment to simple pumps FarrWest has the knowledge to diagnose the issue(s) and repair them. Our certified technicians can repair and maintain equipment from manufacturers such as: YSI, Horiba, Solinst, Heron, Well-Vu, VanEssen, TSI, Thermo Fischer Scientific, Flir, Draeger, GMI, BW, Rae Systems, Smiths Detection, LaMotte, Oakton, RKI, Sensit, Rigaku, QED, Ludlum, ION Scientific, Clean Earth, AMS.
Every instrument that passes through FarrWest undergoes maintenance routines to prevent any issues before they become critical or dangerous. This will allow you to avoid expensive, reactive repairs that can cost you a significant amount of time and money, especially if you’re in the middle of a large project.
Once diagnosis and the estimate we sent you has been approved we will begin repairs shortly after pending any additional parts that might need to be ordered.
Customer Feedback & Pricing
The feedback that we get form our clients play an integral part in how we audit and improve our processes. FarrWest strives to maintain competitive rates to ensure our clients the best pricing for their budget needs.
When FarrWest launches a new product to be included in our rental fleet we like our clients to try it out for half the standard rental rate. This will allow our clients to give us pertinent feedback and information for each unit we carry or are thinking about implementing. Our Service Depot will then take that information and use it in our day to day operations
The decon process is specific to each piece of equipment that we see. Whether the equipment is a rental or an instrument you own FarrWest will perform a full decontamination process. Our rental units are decontaminated before and after each rental in addition to full calibrations. Our factory certified technicians decon to manufacturer standards in only the best cleaning reagents.
Repair and Calibration Process
Each piece of equipment will receive a calibration certification in addition to a calibration sticker. Every calibration will come with its own reference number which is then stored in the internal FarWest Database. This instruments repair and calibration specifics can be recalled at a later date with this number.
